How I build and check each tool

I start from a primary source: a government standard (NIST), a regulator (U.S. FDA), a peer-reviewed reference (NCBI Bookshelf) or a professional body (American Academy of Pediatrics).
I write the formula exactly as the source states it and cite that source on the page.
Before a tool goes live, I test it against worked examples published in those sources.
I list every source under References and show the date I last checked them.
When a source changes or a reader reports an error, I re-check the page and update that date.
